This view of Moab (pop. 5200) is taken from Poison Spider Mesa, a 900 foot clifftop on the west side of the valley. Opposite is the Slickrock Mountain Biking Area, an awesome and unique world-famous attraction exclusive to Moab. Ten miles to the South are the 12,700 foot-high La Sal Mountains.
