"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)
WHAT WE BELIEVE
That the entire Bible is God's inspired errorless Word, and is, therefore, the supreme authority in all matters of faith, life and conduct, as well as the only sure guide to heaven.
That the Triune God (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) is the only true God.
That we are sinful and deserve eternal damnation; that left to ourselves, we can do nothing to save ourselves.
That Jesus Christ came into the world to take our place under God's Law and to suffer and die to pay the penalty for our sin, thus forgiving us our sins and purchasing for us eternal life, which through the Gospel is now offered to us and everyone as a free gift of God to be received by faith.
That faith is God's work (through the Holy Spirit--not man) which can come only through the Word of God. Man is justified before God by faith alone - not by good deeds.
That in return for God's goodness to us,  and enabled by the power of His Spirit, we now respond in love by a life of service and obedience to Him.
That baptism is a Means of God's Grace for both infants and adults; that thru baptism we are made children of God and thus the pardon procured by Christ on the cross is extended to all who receive it in faith.
That we invite all those who desire to join us in the Lord's Supper to come with repentant hearts, recognizing that through the power of God's Word He comes to us in the Body and Blood of Christ which is in, with and under the bread and wine. He comes with His love and forgiveness, strengthening us to do His will in our lives.
That the body, which in death is separated from the soul, will be resurrected on the Last Day, to be reunited with the souls; that all human beings will be judged by Jesus Christ; that all unbelievers will be condemned to eternal damnation and that all believers in Christ work be given eternal life in heaven.
That the Holy Spirit is active and working in our world today. All "gifts of the Spirit" are present in a community of believers. He bestows the "gifts of the Spirit" to all believers in accordance with God's will, enabling all believers to live their lives to the glory of Christ, our ascended Lord, to carry out the Great Commision--"to make disciples of all nations."
