Where is the camp?
The camp is located at Twin Peaks Bible Camp, 50 miles east of Grand Junction, CO on the Grand Mesa. The camp is 8,000 feet in elevation.

What to expect:
You can look forward to a great experience - spiritually, recreationally, and socially. Great speaker, great band, great food, friendships, recreation, sports, activities, singing, and special events. Expect a lot of fun and an opportunity to grow in faith.

The camp program and recreation will be led by the summer staff of the Alliance Redwoods. Special recreation includes mountain biking; kayaking; camping and climbing; hiking; and arts and crafts.

How much does it cost?
The cost for the entire week is $125.00 This includes all activities, room, programs and food. Craft projects are an optional expense of $2.00 each. Extra spending money may be needed for snacks while travelling to and from the camp. Make your check payable to your local church. There is no cost for counselors.

What about the camp?
Campers will be staying in cabins and dorms with beds. Showers and running water are located in each cabin. Toilet facilities are outside in latrines.

What to bring?
- Sleeping Bag or bedding & pillow
- Bible
-Towel, soap, shampoo, sunscreen
-Personal Items -Casual Clothes...swimsuit
-Summer clothes: Shorts & T-shirts, however it can get cool at night so also bring jeans, a sweatshirt and a jacket,
-Hiking Shoes, Flashlight
-A Friend or Two
-A desire to grow closer to Christ

What not to bring:
-Radios (Cl) player, walkmans, Jam boxes)
-Alcohol, tobacco, drugs & fireworks
-Hand-held computer games

Counselor Information:
One adult is needed for every eight (8) campers. Please turn in your registration form by July 16th. Adult counselors serve for the week instead of paying for the camp. You will be assisting the Alliance Redwoods staff throughout the week.

Schedule:
Arrive Monday, Aug. 7th @ 3:00 p.m. for campers to check-in. Leave on Friday, Aug. 11th after lunch.

Registration Instructions:
Each church needs to mail all the camper & counselor registration forms to Price Chapel no later than July 16, 2000.

Also mail one (1) check payable to "Price Chapel" for the total cost.

After July 16th - The Camp cost increases to $140.00

Directions:
Take I-70 east towards Grand Junction. Go past (irand Junction and s Palisades exits. Stay on I- 70 to the Grand Mesa exit - highway 65. Follow 65 through a canyon. Then you will come to highway 330. Make a left turn onto 330. Follow 10-15 miles to Collbran, Colorado. As you come into Collbran, turn right at the 1st road - County 58 1/2. The road should also be marked - Grand Mesa National Forest. Follow the signs marked Bonham Reservoir. Two (2) miles out of Collbran the main road jogs to the left of 1/2 mile and becomes County 59. Look for a sign saying - Twin Peaks Bible Camp 4 1/2 miles. All together it is 7 miles from Collbran to the camp. Twin Peaks Bible Camp is on the right.
